Today was a travel day for The Davis Moon Project and we made a 5 hour trek to Awassa. One challenge in Ethiopia is that due to poor infrastructure and roads it can take a long time take to travel 175 miles. The upside to the long drive is that we were traveling through the Rift Valley. Southern Ethiopia is incredibly beautiful and lush.

We are preparing for a full day of work tomorrow at the Davis Moon School. Our plan is to deliver and distribute school uniforms, book, school supplies and some recreational equipment. We will also be assisting a general contractor in expanding the school.

More updates to follow after we work our first day at the DMP school!
